Hello readers!
i hope you are reading my blogs and like it very much. in my last blog i discuss about the plants structural modifications.
these adaptations are due to environmental changes and locality. the plants that are living in the high temperature(desert) are totally different from the plants that live in the low temperature(hilly areas).
i mean to say that there temprature, nutritional and many other requirements are different from each others.

DESERT PLANTS
desert plants have thick waxy layer that protect them and also prevent the water loss. they are succulent       ( plants that store water). they have small or no leaves. there stem is photosynthetic. stomata number is reduced. cactus is example
                                                                           cactus
PLANTS IN HILLY AREAS
these plants have less waxy layer as compaired to the plants that are present in the desert. they do not face the drought condition and easily get the maximum water supply. pinus is example.
